Chicago White Sox DFS SPIN
Eloy Jimenez homered twice to drive in five runs Monday as the White Sox crushed the Twins 11-1. The homers came in the first two innings off Beau Burrows. He had a chance for a truly monster game at that point, but the rest of his night included a 107-mph groundout, a walk and a strikeout. Jimenez has five homers, four doubles and 14 RBI in 10 games since returning a torn pectoral muscle that has obviously sapped from him a great deal of strength.
Minnesota Twins DFS Spin
Brent Rooker struck out all four times up Monday in the loss to the White Sox. Rooker is 5-for-43 with no homers and one RBI in his last 10 games. In spite of that, the Twins are not only playing him regularly as a DH, but they're batting him second. Perhaps they should give some of his playing time to their catcher duo. Neither Mitch Garver nor Ryan Jeffers is logging any time at DH of late, even though both have offered more productive bats than Rooker has shown.
White Sox vs. Twins Betting Prediction
The White Sox are 13-4 in their last 17 games versus the Twins, are 5-1 in their last six road games versus a right-handed starter and are 5-2 in their last seven games overall. On the other side, the Twins are 1-4 in their last five home games, are 2-8 in their last 10 home games versus a left-handed starter and are 1-7 in their last eight games versus a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.
