Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Spin

Dodgers designated hitter Shohei Ohtani had an incredible game in his team’s 5-1 win over the Brewers last Friday in Game 4 of the NLCS. In that game, the 3-time league MVP went 3 for 3 with 3 homers, 3 RBIs, a walk, and 3 runs scored. Ohtani also pitched 6 shutout innings against the Brewers, permitting just 2 hits and striking out 10. During the regular season, Ohtani hit .282 with 55 homers, 102 RBIs, 20 steals, and an OPS of 1.014 in 611 at-bats. Shohei Ohtani has an OPS of .967 in 10 playoff games this year, making him an interesting DFS option on Friday night.

Toronto Blue Jays DFS Spin

Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer reached base twice in his club’s 4-3 win over the Mariners in Game 7 of the ALCS on Monday night. Hitting out of the leadoff spot, the 4-time All-Star went 1 for 3 with a homer, 3 RBIs, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Across 498 regular-season at-bats, Springer hit .309 with 32 homers, 84 RBIs, 18 steals, and an OPS of .959. The 2017 World Series MVP is batting .264 with 23 homers, 47 RBIs, and an OPS of .883 in 78 career playoff games. That fact makes George Springer worth a look in most DFS formats on Friday.

Los Angeles is 4-2 straight up in their last 6 games against Toronto.

Los Angeles is 5-0 straight up in their last 5 games overall.

Toronto is 7-10 straight up in playoff games since the start of the 2019 season.

Toronto is 2-5 straight up when playing on 2 or 3 days of rest since the start of the 2007 season.

Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Betting Prediction

I like Los Angeles in this matchup, largely because of their starting pitcher, Blake Snell. The 2-time Cy Young Award winner has been lights out in these playoffs. In 3 postseason starts spanning 21 innings in 2025, Snell is 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA, a 0.52 WHIP, a 12.0 K/9, and a 5.6 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

The lefty from Seattle has only allowed 6 hits and 2 runs combined in his 3 postseason starts this year. He also looked dominant in his last outing, an 8-inning gem where he struck out 10 batters, gave up only 1 hit, didn’t walk a batter, and held the Brewers scoreless. Snell should toss a quality start on Friday, and that should be enough for the Dodgers to secure the Game 1 outright win. The pick is Los Angeles -155 on the money line over Toronto at Bovada.lv.
