Andrew McCutchen doubled twice and drove in a run on Monday in a rout of the Cubs. McCutchen also singled and came around to score two runs. The outfielder was excellent in June with a 1.027 OPS in his 24 games, and while he was just 1-for-8 in July coming into this game, it's safe to say he's continuing the hot streak after this contest. If McCutchen was dropped because of his poor results in the first two months, he's at the very least worthy of consideration of a roster add.
Chicago Cubs DFS Spin
Javier Báez blasted a homer while driving in two runs and going 2-for-3 in a blowout loss on Monday to the Phillies. The homer gives Báez 19 on the season. It also brought the Cubs to within a touchdown on Monday as Philadelphia still was leading 10-3 after the blast. Still counts. Báez also doubled and drew a walk, so he improves his slash to .230/.280/.475 in 78 games.
Phillies vs. Cubs Betting Prediction
The Phillies are 5-0 in their last five meetings with the Cubs overall and have won four of their last five games when facing a right-handed starter. The Cubs, meanwhile, are 0-9 in their last nine games coming off a loss, are 0-5 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter and are now 5-16 in their last 21 games overall.
