Yordan Alvarez crushed a solo homer on Sunday in the Astros' loss to the Rays. Alvarez snapped a 13-game homerless drought with a towering 424-foot solo homer to right-center field -- his third round-tripper of the season -- off righty Michael Wacha in the fourth inning. He also singled to record his fourth multi-hit effort in his last seven games. The 23-year-old middle-of-the-order masher owns a robust .313/.360/.550 triple-slash line with 14 runs scored, three homers and 15 RBI across 89 plate appearances. They weren't able to pull out a victory in this one, but the Astros have been on a roll lately, winning eight of their last 11 games, dating back to April 22.

New York Yankees DFS Spin

Aroldis Chapman twirled a perfect ninth inning on Sunday, preserving a two-run lead against the Tigers to record his sixth save of the season. Chapman was summoned to protect a two-run lead after Corey Kluber tossed eight shutout frames to open the contest. The 33-year-old flame-throwing lefty got Robbie Grossman to line out to center field and whiffed both Jeimer Candelario and Miguel Cabrera to end the contest. He's scattered two hits with a sublime 24/3 K/BB ratio over 10 shutout innings this season.
