New York Yankees DFS SPIN
Batting second with the Yankees mixing things up at the top, Giancarlo Stanton went 0-for-4 against the Blue Jays on Monday. Stanton usually hits fourth, but with Aaron Hicks absent, the Yankees decided to put Aaron Judge in the third spot and move Stanton up tonight. It was probably a one-time thing. Stanton is hitting just .167 with one homer in nine games, though he does have seven RBI.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Alejandro Kirk went 0-for-2 before being removed for a pinch-hitter Monday against the Yankees. Kirk hit .292/.333/.583 this spring to force the Jays to carry him as backup catcher, but he's 0-for-13 so far in the regular season and the Jays actually had Joe Panik hit for him tonight, as they seemingly thought the veteran had a better chance against Darren O'Day's unusual delivery (he struck out). Kirk is just 22 and the Jays want him to get significant playing time, so if he continues to struggle, he could be swapped out to start regularly once the Triple-A season begins.
Yankees vs. Blue Jays Betting Prediction
The under is now 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and is 8-3 in the Yankees’ last 11 games overall despite all the firepower that these two teams possess in their lineup. On the other side, the under is 5-2 in the Blue Jays’ last seven games versus a right-hander and is 4-1 in their last five games versus American League East rivals.
