EAST LOTHIAN, Scotland (TheSpread) – The opening round of the 2013 British Open is complete. Here is a look at the updated odds to win this tournament.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Tiger Woods is still the favorite to win this tournament, as he has 7/2 odds after the first round. Other short odds to win are Phil Mickelson (8/1), Zach Johnson (9/1) and Brandt Snedeker (14/1).

Woods had a respectable first round, posting a 2-under 69 to find himself tied for ninth entering day two. The leader, Zach Johnson, sits at -5 for the tournament.

Mickelson is also at -2 for the tournament after shooting a 69 on Thursday. Mickelson is seeking his first British Open championship.

Johnson set the tone early, posting a 66 in the early tee times, and nobody was able to match his efforts the rest of the day. Johnson is looking to win his first British Open title.

Snedeker shot a 3-under 68 on Thursday. He currently finds himself in a tie for fourth place with four other golfers. Snedeker is looking to claim his first major championship.
