SAN FRANCISCO, CA (TheSpread) – The 2012 U.S. Open is halfway complete and Tiger Woods is tied for the lead. Here is an updated look at the odds to win.

According to the oddsmakers, Woods is still the favorite to win as he has 5/6 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Jim Furyk (5/1) and David Toms (10/1).

All three golfers are tied for the lead at 1-under par for the tournament. Furyk shot a 69 on Friday, which is one under while Woods and Toms each shot an even-par 70. The trio leads the rest of the field by two shots, as four other golfers at +1 for the tournament.

Woods has the edge in terms of winning majors, as he has 14 to his credit and three U.S. Open championships.

Toms owns one major, the 2001 PGA Championship. He has finished in the top 10 of the U.S. Open two times, the last being a fifth place finish in 2007.

Furyk is a former U.S. Open champion. It is his lone major as he claimed the 2003 title. He has finished second in this tournament in 2006 and 2007 as well.
