The Clippers evened the series with the Jazz with a 99-91 win in Game 2 on Tuesday night. The Jazz have covered the spread in the first two games of the series. Utah is 52-32 overall, 29-12 at home and 38-42-4 against the spread. Los Angeles enters tonight 52-32 overall, 22-19 on the road and 40-43-1 against the spread.

Los Angeles had a strong day shooting in Game 2, going 44-of-84 from the field, to grab the win. The Clippers did it largely from inside the arc, as they had just six 3-pointers. Blake Griffin had 24 points on 11-of-21 shooting while DeAndre Jordan had 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting and also had 15 rebounds. Chris Paul added 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting and also had 10 assists. The Jazz struggled to keep the Clippers out of the paint with Rudy Gobert injured. Gordon Hayward led the team with 20 points and six rebounds, but he was just 5-of-15 shooting.
The Jazz will be without Gobert again tonight, which should give the Clippers an opportunity to again pound the paint. While Los Angeles may not have quite the same offensive chemistry on the road, they will get plenty of good looks. The Jazz may see an improvement in shooting, but are being forced to shoot more from the outside due to Los Angeles’ presence in the paint. I think the Jazz will struggle again tonight.
