Lauri Markkanen tallied 28 points (9-of-21 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in Tuesday's 102-94 loss to the Spurs. Markkanen has scored 21 points or more in eight straight games now, but Tuesday's performance ended a stretch of three straight in which he shot 50% or better from the field. However, there was another streak that the 7-footer managed to extend. He's now made a 3-pointer in 48 consecutive games, the longest streak for a player Markkanen's height or taller in NBA history. He's providing top-20 value in 9-cat formats for the season, and Markkanen may be there to stay, given how well he has played.

Oklahoma City Thunder DFS Spin

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (health and safety protocols, abdominal strain) will remain sidelined for Friday's matchup with the Jazz. At least SGA isn't dealing with the right ankle soreness anymore. He's down to only two ailments that are keeping him out of the lineup. Hopefully the abdominal strain will be healed by the time he exits league protocols. Isaiah Joe had been starting in place of SGA, but Jeremiah Robinson-Earl got the nod in their last game. Mark Daigneault has mixed up the starting lineup often, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him do it again on Friday.
