2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Odds


LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The 2014 NASCAR Season just ended, so let’s take a look at the odds to win the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win next season, as he has 9/2 odds to win. Other short odds to prevail are Jeff Gordon (6/1), Kevin Harvick (6/1) and Brad Keselowski (7/1).

Johnson is a six-time Sprint Cup champion, last winning in 2013. Johnson didn’t crack the top 8 for this year’s Chase, being eliminated after the second stage. He had four wins this year.

Gordon is a four-time Sprint Cup champion, last winning in 2001. Gordon came up one point shy of qualifying for the final race for the championship this year. He finished 2014 with three wins.

Harvick won the 2014 champion. He won five races in 2014, including the finale that won his the championship in this year’s new format. It was his first Sprint Cup title.

Keselowski won the Sprint Cup championship back in 2012. Keselowski failed to reach the final four in the chase, but had a series-best six wins in 2014.

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will begin on Sunday, February 22 with the Daytona 500. For a look at each driver’s odds to win the Sprint Cup title next season, see below.
