Brewers vs. Dodgers Prediction
The Los Angeles Dodgers survived in 13 innings last night in Game 4 of the NLCS to even it up at 2-2 with the Milwaukee Brewers. Can Los Angeles get a better start out of Clayton Kershaw at home today to win a pivotal Game 5?

Bellinger walk-off single wins it
Cody Bellinger drove in Manny Machado with the game-winning single in the bottom of the 13th inning Tuesday night as the host Dodgers prevailed 2-1 in 13 innings to even the National League Championship at two games apiece. Chris Taylor went 0-for-4, but walked twice and scored a run from the leadoff spot in the victory. Brian Dozier finished 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. Bellinger was 2-for-4 off the bench with an RBI. Austin Barnes ended the game 1-for-4 plus a walk. Julio Urias earned the win in relief as the ninth LA pitcher as he gave up one hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning of relief.
Braun has three hits in defeat
Ryan Braun finished 3-for-6 in Tuesday night's loss at the Dodgers. Jesus Aguilar went 1-for-5 with a walk. Manny Pina finished 1-for-2 with a double and two walks. Orlando Arcia was 1-for-5 and scored the lone run. Domingo Santana contributed an RBI pinch-hit double. Junior Guerra took the loss in relief as he surrendered one earned run on two hits with four strikeouts and no walks over 3 2/3 innings.
Wade Miley (5-2, 2.57 ERA) will start today for the Brewers, while Los Angeles will turn to Kershaw (9-5, 2.73).
MLB Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Brewers are 7-2 in their last nine road games. The under is 8-1 in the last nine Milwaukee games overall.
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 17-5 in their last 22 playoff home games. The under is 6-2-1 in the last nine Kershaw starts versus Milwaukee.
Prediction:
The Brewers had a prime opportunity to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, but couldn't get it done against countless Dodgers relievers. But the good news is that the Milwaukee bullpen is in better shape than LA's and the Dodgers were unable to solve Miley over the weekend. Kershaw has been slumping and he is still being priced too well by oddsmakers considering his playoff struggles. The Dodgers struggled to score two runs over 13 innings yesterday and I'm going to take advantage of a still-hot Milwaukee team in Game 5.
