A potential pitcher’s duel is on tap for baseball fans tonight in Cleveland where Shane Bieber and the Indians will host Gerrit Cole and the Yankees at 7:08 p.m. ET. Who will win this Game 1 AL Wild Card matchup?

American League Wild Card Round, Game 1
New York Yankees DFS Spin
Kyle Higashioka will catch Gerrit Cole in Game 1 of the Wild Card round against the Indians on Tuesday. It's not a big surprise given the success Cole has had with Higashioka behind the plate. The Yankees ace as a 1.00 ERA in four starts with Higashioka. Gary Sanchez will give the Yankees a powerful bat off the bench for the series opener, if needed.
Cleveland Indians DFS Spin
Franmil Reyes homered and drove in four runs against the Pirates in a win on Sunday. With Cleveland trailing 6-2, Reyes got the club back into the game with a three-run shot in the sixth inning. That was the ninth homer of the season for the 25-year-old, and he ends the 2020 regular season with 34 RBI in 211 at-bats. The average took a huge hit late in the season, but Reyes was still able to hit .275 with a .795 OPS this summer, and appears to have more offensive potential to be unlocked going forward.
Yankees vs. Indians Betting Prediction
Bieber has an 8.31 ERA in two career starts against the Yankees while Cole is 3-1 with a 2.50 ERA in five career outings versus the Indians. Cole was also incredible last year in the postseason, posting a 4-1 record with a 1.72 ERA and 0.87 WHIP. He was virtually unhittable. In a matchup of aces, I’ll take the better offense, provided that the banged-up Yankees bats come alive. The Yankees also have the edge when it comes to the bullpen so again, I like the value with the Bronx Bombers tonight.
