Alex Bregman helped lead the Astros offensively as he went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI. Kyle Tucker finished 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Yordan Alvarez ended the contest 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. MLB Betting Trends
Houston
The Astros are 5-0 in their last five road games. Houston is 7-1 in the last eight Miley road starts.
Los Angeles
The Angels are 3-12 in their last 15 games versus the AL West. Los Angeles is 1-6 in its last seven Thursday games.
Prediction:
Houston has a 2 1/2-game cushion on the Yankees for home-field advantage through the playoffs and I think it will want to put the clamps down on that before perhaps resting players over the weekend. The Astros have a fairly deep roster and might rest in spurts, but I do expect them to take this one seriously. Los Angeles lacks a lot of offense with so many players missing and the runline bet really sticks out.
