MLB Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The Phillies are 4-0 in the last four Velasquez starts. Philadelphia is 2-5 in its last seven Sunday games.
Cleveland
The Indians are 5-1 in their last six home games. Cleveland is 1-4 in its last five interleague games.
Prediction:
Cleveland has been streaky all season and although it does have the starting pitching advantage somewhat and is on its home field, the bullpen has been an issue all season. If Philadelphia can keep this game close, I like its chances to steal another one as the Indians are going to start pressing more each game knowing they are the trailing team in the AL Wild Card race. I'm taking a shot on the Phillies in this spot.
