Trea Turner helped lead the offense as he was 1-for-4 with two walks and two runs. Bryce Harper went 1-for-5 with a walk. Anthony Rendon finished 1-for-5 with a home run, a walk and three RBIs. MLB Betting Trends

New York

The under is 6-2-1 in the last nine Mets games overall. New York is 14-3 in deGrom's last 17 Friday starts.

The over is 15-5-1 in the last 21 Nationals home games. Washington is 3-8 in its last eight times facing deGrom.

A win-loss record means nothing for a pitcher's worth as shown by deGrom this year. Even so, it would be a shame if he actually finished this season with a record below .500. He can still get over .500 in his last two starts, beginning tonight. I can't see him tossing a poor start this late in the game as he's as automatic as they come. Go with New York to back deGrom to a victory tonight.
