Rockies swept at Dodgers
Colorado fell by a count of 5-2 Wednesday night in the finale at Los Angeles to go from half a game up in the NL West standings to 2.5 games down in a matter of three days. David Dahl was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run in the defeat. Ian Desmond finished 1-for-4 and drove in both runs. Scott Oberg took the loss in relief as he allowed three earned runs on two hits plus a walk in one-third of an inning.
D-backs dominate in one-hitter
Robbie Ray combined with three relievers to throw a one-hitter Wednesday night in a 9-0 home victory over the Cubs to avoid a three-game sweep. Ray threw the first six innings as he allowed one hit with eight strikeouts and four walks. Jon Jay was 2-for-4 from the leadoff spot to help pace the offense. Christian Walker went 1-for-4 with a 3-run homer. Patrick Kivlehan was 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs. Chris Owings went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs and three RBIs. Jeff Mathis was 1-for-4 with a 2-run homer.

MLB Betting Trends
Colorado
The under is 9-1 in the last 10 Marquez starts overall. Colorado is 7-2 in the last nine meetings.
Arizona
The D-backs are 12-5 in their last 17 Friday games. The under is 6-2-1 in the last nine Greinke starts versus Colorado.
Prediction:
Arizona rested most of its starters Wednesday in what was essentially a white flag for this season, although the reserves led the way to a rout. Marquez has been awesome the last couple months and aside from one poor inning his last start, he was solid once again. I like Colorado here as it's the team with something to play for and will want to get the bad taste of the LA series out of its mouth quickly.
