MLB Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The under is 13-6 in the last 19 Angels games overall. The over is 7-2 in Shoemaker's last nine starts on grass.

Oakland

The over is 12-4 in the last 16 Athletics games overall. Oakland is 28-10 in its last 38 home games.

Prediction:

Shoemaker has looked pretty good since returning from injury and theoretically he should be getting stronger with each start. Jackson has overachieved since joining the A's rotation and is still in line for some regression. After a 10-run outburst, expect the Oakland bats to slow down enough for Los Angeles to get the win as underdogs.

MLB DAILY PREDICTION: LOS ANGELES ANGELS +124
