Mets roll behind Wheeler

New York dominated Monday's opener at the Phillies to the tune of 9-4. Zack Wheeler secured the win as he allowed four earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts and three walks over seven innings. Jeff McNeil helped pace the offense as he went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI. Michael Conforto had a huge night as he was 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and six RBIs. 

Crawford paces Phillies in loss

Carlos Santana finished 1-for--2 with two walks in yesterday's home loss to the Mets. Wilson Ramos and Nick Williams both went 1-for-4 with a run. J.P. Crawford finished 1-for-3 iwth a triple, a run and three RBIs. Tommy Hunter took the loss in relief as he allowed one earned run on two hits with a strikeout in one inning of work.

With Matz not having a very strong season, I can't see him matching Nola tonight. Even though the Phillies are struggling, this game sets up well for them to even the series.
