Nats take two of three at Braves
Washington won the last two games of its three-game series at Atlanta over the weekend, taking Sunday's game by a count of 6-4. Bryce Harper helped pace the offense by going 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, three runs and two RBIs. Anthony Rendon finished 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two runs and two RBIs. Juan Soto finished 2-for-5 with an RBI. Tanner Roark earned the win as he allowed two earned runs on five hits with three strikeouts and two walks over 5 1/3 innings. Sean Doolittle struck out one in a perfect inning of work for his 24th save of the season.
Marlins end five-game losing skid
Miami halted its losing streak Sunday with a 6-4 victory at the Phillies. Starlin Castro helped lead the way by going 1-for-4 and scoring two runs. Peter O'Brien finished 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Lewis Brinson went 1-for-4 with a triple, a run and an RBI. Bryan Holaday was 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and an RBI. Jose Urena secured the win as he gave up one earned run on three hits with four strikeouts and a walk over five innings.

MLB Betting Trends
Washington
The Nationals are 7-2 in their last nine games overall. Washington is 2-6 in its last eight Monday games.
Miami
The Marlins are 2-8 in their last 10 home games versus the Nationals. Miami is 12-30 in its last 42 games overall.
Prediction:
Washington has finally managed to string some wins together, way too late to salvage its season. Fedde has looked sharp in his recent innings after a shaky start to his MLB season. He gets to face a weak Marlins offense tonight in a pitcher's park. I'm taking the Nationals here.
