Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports that Chris Sale has tested positive for COVID-19. The Red Sox' coronavirus outbreak continues to worsen. Sale had been slated to start on Sunday against the White Sox, but obviously that won't happen now. Because he tested positive, he must stay on the COVID-19 IL for a minimum of 10 days. Obviously, it's a massive blow as the Red Sox play for a Wild Card spot.

Seattle Mariners DFS Notes

Kyle Lewis has been shut down for the remainder of the season due to a bone bruise in his right knee. It's another brutal setback for the 2020 American League Rookie of the Year Award winner, who wound up playing in just 36 games this summer with the Mariners. He slashed .246/.333/.392 with five home runs and two stolen bases across 147 plate appearances when healthy. Lewis, 26, will now focus on getting back to full health for the start of the 2022 campaign.
