Los Angeles lost by a score of 7-3 at Baltimore Wednesday night to drop to 94-53 overall and 38-33 on the road. A.J. Pollock led the Dodgers offense as he finished 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Matt Beaty went 1-for-1 with a pinch hit RBI single. Baltimore secured a 7-3 home win over Los Angeles Wednesday night to improve to 47-98 overall and 23-51 at home. Jonathan Villar went 1-for-4 with a go-ahead 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning that was the 6,106th long all this season for the most in MLB history. Pedro Severino finished 1-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs. Austin Hays ended the game 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Shawn Armstrong picked up the win in relief as he gave up one hit with one strikeout and no walks over 1 2/3 scoreless innings. MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 16-6 in their last 22 Thursday games. Los Angeles is 7-1 in the last eight Hill road starts.
Baltimore
The Orioles are 24-54 in their last 78 home games. Baltimore is 18-43 in the last 61 Bundy starts.
Prediction:
Welcome back, Rich Hill. He gets a lower quality opponent to ease back with and although he'll be on a pitch count, I expect him to keep the O's at bay for the most part. I can't say the same for Bundy as power hitters from both sides of the plate are probably going to torch him here. This is a tremendous bounceback spot for the Dodgers and I'm taking the runline.
