Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
Dallas Keuchel yielded six runs (five earned) on seven hits over three innings in Friday's loss to the Royals. The contest saw a rain delay of about two hours before the sky cleared up. Keuchel probably wishes the whole thing had just been washed out. The veteran right-hander coughed up a pair of runs in the second inning and four more in the third inning to put the White Sox down 6-0, a deficit which his crew would be unable to overcome before contest's end. Keuchel has now surrendered six runs in each of his last three starts and owns a rough 5.22 ERA for the season as a whole. He could desperately use a respectable outing in a road start against the A's next time out.
Oakland A’s DFS Notes
Athletics activated RHP Frankie Montas from the restricted list. Montas wasn't able to go to Toronto due to a visa issue, but he's slated to return to action Wednesday against the White Sox. The 28-year-old holds a solid 3.68 ERA through 27 starts this season, including a 2.43 ERA over his last 12 starts.
