Toronto Blue Jays DFS Notes
Marcus Semien homered again and added a double Tuesday versus the Yankees. Semien started off his night by ripping a double down the left field line in the first inning off of Gerrit Cole. After walking in his next plate appearance, Semien then took Albert Abreu deep to lead off the top of the fifth. The infielder now has six home runs in six games this month and is up to 38 bombs on the season.
New York Yankees DFS Notes
Anthony Rizzo had two hits and drove in the Yankees' only run in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays. His two-out RBI single in the third inning knotted things up at the time, but the Jays outscored the Yanks 4-0 the rest of the way. Rizzo's bat has been a little quiet since he returned from the COVID-19 injured list, although this was his second straight multi-hit effort.
Blue Jays vs. Yankees MLB Betting Prediction
The Blue Jays are 5-1 in their last six games at Yankee Stadium and have won six in a row. They’re also 5-1 in their last six games versus divisional rivals and are 5-2 in their last seven games when taking on a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. On the other side, the Yankees are now 2-7 in their last nine games as a favorite and continue to struggle to slow down the red-hot Blue Jays.
