Los Angeles Dodgers DFS Notes
Albert Pujols smacked a pinch-hit two-run homer in the ninth inning on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to lead the Dodgers to victory over the Giants. Pujols came on and crushed a 425-foot blast off of Jake McGee to trim a four-run deficit to two, but that would be as close as the Dodgers would get. It was his second pinch-hit home run of the season -- and only the fourth of his career. The 41-year-old slugger is now hitting .240/.287/.444 with 16 homers and 48 RBI on the season.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS Notes
Tyler O'Neill went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI, and a walk against the Brewers on Sunday. After drawing a walk in the second inning, O'Neill knocked a base hit off Corbin Burnes in the fourth and scored on a double by Harrison Bader. With a runner on in the seventh, he took Jake Cousins deep for a two-run shot to give St. Louis a four-run lead. The 26-year-old outfielder is hitting .276/.347/.514 with 23 homers, 54 RBI, and ten stolen bases across 427 plate appearances.
