Murphy, Schwarber homer in win
Chicago won its finale at Milwaukee Wednesday night to avoid a three-game sweep and push the lead in the NL Central back to four games. Nats edged by Cardinals
Washington lost a close one by a score of 7-6 Wednesday at home versus St. Louis to lose its third game out of its last four. Adam Eaton was 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI from the leadoff spot. Bryce Harper and Anthony Rendon both finished 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored. Juan Soto was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run. Tanner Roark suffered the loss as he gave up six earned runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts and no walks over five innings.

MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The Cubs are 44-15 in their last 59 Thursday games.
Washington
The Nationals are 62-22 in Strasburg's last 84 starts. Washington is 2-6 in its last eight times facing Hendricks.
Prediction:
The formerly dominant Strasburg is having a run-of-the mill season, while Hendricks has pitched a lot better in the second half of the season. While Chicago traveled to get here, it's the better team and should be able to get to Strasburg and the bullpen enough to support Hendricks.
