Oakland A’s DFS SPIN
Matt Chapman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Blue Jays. Chapman bopped a solo home run off Jose Berrios in the top of the fifth inning. The slugger is working to a 225/.322/.421 triple-slash with 24 home runs and 67 RBI across 131 games played this summer.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS Spin
Lourdes Gurriel went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a bases-clearing double in Saturday's 10-8 win over the A's. The A's are probably quite weary of Gurriel at this point, as he socked a game-tying eighth-inning grand slam in Friday's contest and came through with another huge performance on Saturday. After mashing a solo homer off Paul Blackburn in the second inning, Gurriel came back around to clear the bases with a double in the eighth inning, putting the Blue Jays up 10-3 in the process. Remarkably, the Jays very nearly blew that lead, surrendering five runs in the top of the ninth inning before finally sewing up the win. On the whole this season, Gurriel is slashing .277/.314/.449 with 16 home runs and 64 RBI across 118 games played.
A’s vs. Blue Jays Betting Prediction
The over is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams, is 5-0 in the A’s last five games overall and is 5-0-1 in their last six road games. On the other side, the over is 19-7 in the Blue Jays’ last 26 games versus American League West rivals and are 6-2 in their last eight games when their opponent scores five runs or more in its previous game.
