Marte connected on a Wily Peralta slider in the fourth inning, launching a majestic 436-foot go-ahead solo homer to center field. It was his 10th round-tripper of the season. The 32-year-old outfielder has been a revelation in the second half, hitting .346 (45-for-130) with three homers and 20 stolen bases across 30 games since the All-Star break.
