D-backs find offense

Arizona scored once in the third inning and two more in the fourth Wednesday in its series finale at the Giants, ending a streak in which it had been shut out two straight games. The D-backs will look for more offense tonight as they try and support lefty Robbie Ray (3-2, 4.73 ERA). Ray allowed one earned run on five hits with seven strikeouts and four walks over five innings to get a no-decision in his last start versus the Mariners.

Dodgers win again at Rangers

Los Angeles recorded a 3-1 victory Wednesday night in its series finale at Texas and now have now all four meetings with the Rangers this season. Manny Machado had a solo home run in four at-bats to help lead the way. Cody Bellinger was 1-for-3 with a solo homer. Yasmani Grandal finished 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk. Alex Wood picked up the win as he threw seven shutout innings of four-hit ball, striking out five and walking two. Kenta Maeda earned his first save of the season as he allowed one earned run on one hit with one strikeout and two walks in an inning of work.

Rich Hill (6-4, 3.50 ERA) will start tonight for the Dodgers.
