New York Yankees DFS Notes
Jordan Montgomery worked five innings and allowed one run Monday against the Braves. Montgomery got the win to even his record at 5-5. He struck out two, walked four and threw just 41 of 75 pitches for strikes, but he surrendered only a pair of hits on the night.
Oakland A’s DFS Notes
Starling Marte went 0-for-4 but still managed to steal two bases during the Athletics victory over the Yankees on Saturday. The star outfielder reached base on a throwing error in both the third inning and fifth inning for those confused by the logistics. Marte becomes the first player in MLB history to record 20-plus stolen bases in both the American and National Leagues in the same season. The 32-year-old leads the majors with 42 stolen bases and sits 17 above Trea Turner in the National League. Marte is going to appear on quite a few championship rosters in fantasy this season.
Yankees vs. A’s MLB Betting Prediction
The Yankees have won four of the last five meetings with the A’s, with yesterday’s defeat being the only loss of the five. The Yankees are also 7-0 in their last seven games following a loss, are 6-1 in their last seven road games and are 22-4 in their last 26 games as a favorite. On the other side, the A’s are 1-6 in their last seven games overall, are 1-6 in their last seven home games and are winless in their last four games as an underdog.
