MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Pirates are 17-36 in their last 53 games overall. Pittsburgh is 1-4 in the last five Williams road starts.
Colorado
The Rockies are 5-2 in their last seven home games. Colorado is 0-7 in the last seven Gonzalez starts.
Prediction:
I don't think the right team is favored here. Sure, the Rockies are at home and have played above-.500 ball at Coors Field this season. But with Gonzalez on the mound, they become harder to endorse. Williams is having a down year after a strong 2018, but he is a competent pitcher who has also dealt with some poor luck this season. I'm taking the Pirates here as I don't want to put my money on Gonzalez guiding the way to a win.
