Boston Red Sox DFS Notes
Jonathan Arauz hit a three-run homer off James Karinchak in the eighth to lead the Red Sox to a 4-3 win over the Indians on Friday. Arauz was called up before the game because Kiké Hernandez went on the COVID-IL. The homer was his first in 34 at-bats this season and second in 103 career at-bats.
Cleveland Indians DFS Notes
James Karinchak gave up three runs without retiring a batter in the eighth inning to take a blown save and a loss Friday against the Red Sox. Karinchak has been hit as hard as anyone in the league by the sticky stuff crackdown. Before that, he was one of the game's toughest at-bats. Since mid-June, though, he's given up 17 runs in 24 innings. The Indians have to hope he figures something out this winter.
