Carlos Rodon is expected to be activated from the injured list on Thursday to start against the Blue Jays, according to White Sox manager Tony La Russa. The left-hander has been sidelined since August 8 with shoulder fatigue, through this IL stint appears to have mostly been precautionary. Rodon has had no issue in his throwing program during the absence and will return to a stellar 2.38 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 106/30 K/BB ratio over 109 2/3 innings fo the season.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS Notes
Bo Bichette finished 0-for-4 as the Blue Jays' leadoff hitter Wednesday against the White Sox. Bichette is really struggling at the moment, and the switch to the leadoff spot hasn't gotten him going. He's hitting .217/.258/.277 with 20 strikeouts in 83 at-bats this month.
