reached base in all four of his plate appearances in Tuesday's loss to the Pirates. The Nationals' offense has been on a roll, but they were quiet in this one even after starter Chris Archer departed after one inning with an injury. Rendon was the exception, though, doubling, singling twice, walking and adding his third stolen base of the season. He's hitting .322/.400/.608.

Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Spin

Starling Marte smacked a tie-breaking three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning of Tuesday's win over the Nationals. The Pirates were trailing 1-0 going into the eighth but quickly went to work on the Nats' bullpen, loading the bases against Wander Suero with no one out. Daniel Hudson then came on and gave up a sac fly to Bryan Reynolds before Marte ripped one to the opposite field and just over the right-center field wall. To add a cherry on top, Marte then ended the game with an excellent leaping catch at the wall. He's been a fantasy stud this season.
