The Padres couldn’t get the offense going on Tuesday, putting up just four hits and two runs. Josh Naylor and Manny Machado each had two hits to lead the Padres at the plate. Naylor also homered in the victory. On the mound, Cal Quantrill took the loss to fall to 6-4 on the season. He gave up three runs over six innings and had nine strikeouts with no walks.

Raisel Iglesias earned his 25^th save of the season by striking out two in the ninth. Freddy Galvis homered in the win with a two-run shot while Josh VanMeter had two hits and scored two runs.

The Padres have had a lot of tense relief innings in this series, so I think the bullpen could be in trouble trying to sustain high-caliber play today.
