The ball was absolutely flying in Arizona as the two teams combined for a staggering 12 home runs in the extra-inning affair. Pillar crushed a no-doubter to left field off Diamondbacks’ starter Mike Leake in the fourth inning and also walloped a two-run shot off reliever Yoshihisa Hirano in the 10th inning. It was his first multi-homer effort of the 2019 campaign. The 30-year-old outfielder offers some value in deeper mixed leagues, but his underwhelming plate skills limit his ceiling.

They’re now 6-1 in their last seven games played in Arizona and are 4-1 in their last five meetings with the Diamondbacks overall. In their last 16 games versus National League West foes, the G-Men are also 13-3. Meanwhile, the D-Backs have dropped five of their last seven overall and are 2-5 in their last seven home games against a right-handed starter. Tonight, they’ll face righty Logan Webb, who was recently reinstated from an 80-game PED suspension and who will make his Major League debut. The 22-year-old owned a 1.85 ERA across four minor-league levels this season.
