Reds vs. Phillies MLB Prediction
The Reds and Phillies will play the rubber match of their three-game series at Citizens Bank Park on Sunday where Sonny Gray will oppose Aaron Nola in the pitching matchup. The under has been a great play in previous games between these two teams but will that be the case today at 1:05 p.m. ET?
Game Snapshot
901 Cincinnati Reds (+130) at 902 Philadelphia Phillies (-140); o/u 8.5
1:05 p.m. ET, Sunday, August 15, 2021
Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, PA
Cincinnati Reds DFS Notes
Jesse Winker (back) will return to the lineup on Sunday or Monday. Winker got "good news" in his examination, and the Reds will either have the outfielder back in the lineup on Sunday for the series finale against the Phillies or give him one more day of rest and have him return Monday. Either way, the outfielder avoided a serious injury, and should continue to rake once he's back in the lineup.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS Notes
Bryce Harper tripled, walked and drove in a run on Saturday in a victory for the Phillies over the Reds. Harper smashed a triple that just got by Nick Castellanos. It turned into a Little League homer after a mishap getting the ball back to Sean Doolittle with no one covering home plate. Harper is slashing .298/.412/.568 and is firmly entrenched in the MVP race.
