Houston Astros Fantasy Spin
Alex Bregman went 2-for-5 with three RBI in his return to the Astros’ starting lineup against the White Sox on Wednesday. Bregman sat out both games of Tuesday’s doubleheader due to scapula soreness, which resulted from being hit by a pitch on the shoulder on Sunday. The 25-year-old infielder lifted an opposite-field RBI double off the base of the right-field wall to put the Astros on the board in the opening frame. He also plated an additional run with an RBI ground out in the third inning. Fantasy owners can breather easier, knowing that the shoulder issue isn't going to be a major issue going forward.
Oakland A’s Fantasy Spin
Robbie Grossman finished 3-for-5 with a homer and a double against the Giants in Wednesday's win. Grossman would be a bit player for the A's right now if the team enjoyed better health, but as is, he's still playing regularly against right-handers and doing a decent job of getting on base. The homer today was his first since June 18 and sixth in 319 at-bats this season.
