Tyler Anderson yielded one run on four hits over six innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Thursday. Gerrit Cole surrendered four runs in 7 1/3 innings Friday in a loss to the Mariners. Cole isn't pitching all that badly, but he's gone 1-for-4 in his last eight starts, leaving him 10-5 overall this season. The four runs allowed tonight ties his season high, and his five strikeouts matched his season low. But those stats are really just illustrations of how excellent he's been overall this year.
