Trevor Story went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Astros. Not much doing with the bat for Story -- or the Rockies in general -- though he did at least manage to draw a free pass. The object of much trade speculation (all for naught) at the deadline, Story owns a .254/.329/.456 batting line with 15 home runs, 54 RBI and 17 steals in 98 games played this season.

Logan Webb yielded just one run on three hits over six innings while taking a no-decision in Friday's 10-inning loss to the Brewers. Webb's stuff was moving and shaking in this one, with the 24-year-old right-hander fanning nine while walking just one. This kind of performance would usually be strong enough for a victory, but Corbin Burnes on the other side was more than up to the task for a pitcher's duel. The lone run to score on Webb's watch came when Avisail Garcia timed him up for a solo home run in the second inning. Webb, owner of a 3.19 ERA and 1.16 WHIP across 16 appearances (15 starts), will help play host to the Rockies when he next takes to the mound.
Rockies vs. Giants Betting Prediction
The over is 6-0 in the last six meetings between these two teams, is 6-2 in the Rockies’ last eight games as an underdog and is 6-2 in Colorado’s last eight road games overall. On the other side, the over is 6-2 in the Giants’ last eight games when playing the first game of a series and is 5-2 in their last seven games as a home favorite.
