Ryan O'Hearn ended the contest 1-for-4 with a run. Danny Duffy suffered the loss as he gave up six earned runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and one walk over 5 1/3 innings.

MLB Betting Trends

St. Louis

The over is 7-2 in Weaver's last nine road starts. The Cardinals are 7-2 in the last nine meetings.

Kansas City

The Royals are 1-9 in their last 10 Sunday games. The under is 16-5 in Kansas City's last 21 interleague games.

Prediction:

Weaver has had a disappointing season, but has showed signs at times of righting the ship. If there is any team in the American League that can help him improve his season, it's the Royals. They had few answers for Flaherty yesterday and it might be more of the same today. Go with the Cardinals on the road as they should also touch up the strugggling Junis.
