Oakland A’s DFS Notes
Seth Brown went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk Tuesday as the A's edged the Indians 4-3 in 10 innings. Brown wasn't supposed to be much of a factor for the A's down the stretch after the team acquired Starling Marte, but Ramon Laureano's suspension has given him another shot and he's homered in both of his starts since being recalled Friday. He's an option in deeper leagues.
Cleveland Indians DFS Notes
James Karinchak took his fourth blown save of the year when he gave up a run in the eighth inning Tuesday against the A's. Karinchak lost a great deal of spin rate when they started checking the baseballs in June, but his velocity held up fine then. Now, though, he's been down two mph from his norm in back-to-back appearances. It doesn't look like he'll be much of a threat to Emmanuel Clase the rest of the way, and he's very droppable in mixed leagues.
A's vs. Indians MLB Betting Prediction
The A’s are now 6-0 in their last six games in Cleveland and are 9-3 in their last 12 games versus the Indians overall. On the other side, the Indians are just 8-22 in their last 30 games as an underdog, are 3-9 in their last 12 games versus American League West opponents and are 3-10 in their last 12 games as a home dog.
