According to oddsmakers, the Dodgers are favored at home today, as they are getting odds of -210 to win. The Diamondbacks are listed with a money line of +180 to win, while the over/under total is listed at 8 runs. The public betting for the contest currently has 82 percent going on the Dodgers at home. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our MLB Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Diamondbacks end win streak

Arizona had its three-game win streak come to an end on Saturday in a 4-0 loss to the Dodgers. The Diamondbacks are 59-58 on the season, 32-30 on the road and 57-54 with the over. Arizona has Mike Leake on the mound today. He is 0-0 on the season with a 3.38 ERA.

The Diamondbacks were held to just four hits on Saturday in the loss. They didn’t have a single extra-base hit and only Ketel Marte put up multiple hits. Alex Young struggled early on and took the loss to fall to 4-2 on the mound. He gave up four runs over 3.1 innings, walking three in the process.

Dodgers bounce back

The Los Angeles Dodgers were able to bounce back from Friday’s home loss with a 4-0 victory on Saturday. The Dodgers have won eight of their last 10. L.A. is 78-41 on the season, 47-16 at home and 59-55 with the under. The Dodgers have Hyun-Jin Ryu on the mound today. He is 11-2 on the year with a 1.53 ERA.

Kenta Maeda had a strong outing on the mound Saturday night, throwing seven scoreless innings while giving up just three hits. He didn’t walk any and struck out six to move to 6-6 on the year. Max Muncy hit his 28th home run of the year, a solo shot, to lead the Dodgers at the plate. Russell Martin added two hits and a RBI for Los Angeles.

MLB Betting Trends

Arizona

The Diamondbacks are 12-4 in their last 16 Game 3’s of a series and 6-2 in their last eight following a loss.

Los Angeles

The Dodgers are 41-10 in their last 51 home games against a right-handed starter and 23-5 in their last 28 home games against a team with a winning road record.

Prediction:

After a shutout win on Saturday, the Dodgers now have their ace on the mound today in Ryu. He has given up just two earned runs over his last five starts combined. He has an amazing 0.89 ERA at home this year and a 0.69 ERA against Arizona over two starts. He hasn’t pitched since July 31, but I don’t think that will be an issue today. Leake came to Arizona from Seattle and was solid in his first start at home against Philly, but he faces a much better lineup on the road today. He is 2-6 in road starts with a 5.53 ERA.

MLB Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers -210
