Turner, Harper lead Nats to win
Trea Turner finished 2-for-4 with a home run, two stolen bases, two runs and four RBIs in Thursday's 10-4 home win over Cincinnati. Bryce Harper ended the game 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks, two runs and two RBIs. Juan Soto was 0-for-2, but drew two walks while scoring once and driving in one. Daniel Murphy went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs. Max Scherzer picked up the win as he allowed two earned runs on four hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks over six innings.
Suarez hits 25th HR in loss
Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez connected on a fourth-inning home run yesterday off Scherzer to pull his squad within 6-2. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Jose Peraza went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Scooter Gennett ended the game 2-for-5 with a double and a run. Joey Votto walked twice in four plate appearances. Tyler Mahle suffered the loss as he allowed six earned runs on four hits with one strikeout and three walks over 1 2/3 innings.

MLB Betting Trends
Cincinnati
The over is 12-3-1 in the last 16 Reds road games. Cincinnati is 2-14 in the last 16 meetings.
Washington
The Nationals are 6-2 in their last eight games overall. The over is 6-2 in the last eight Washington games on Fridays.
Prediction:
Washington is finally playing with some urgency and Gonzalez has been solid in two of his last three starts. The Nationals need to pile more wins together to climb to the top of the NL East and with the Reds on a three-game losing streak plus massive struggles against Washington the last several seasons, I'm going with the home team here.
