Realmuto wins it with RBI single

A game-winning single by Miami catcher J.T. Realmuto in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Magneuris Sierra and sent the hosts to a 2-1 victory Saturday night. Realmuto led the way by going 2-for-4 with a walk, a run and the RBI. Miguel Rojas went 2-for-4, while Brian Anderson was 1-for-4 plus a walk. Starlin Castro was 1-for-2 and two walks. Yadiel Rivera went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Brett Graves threw a spotless 10th inning with a strikeout to earn the win.

Turner records two-hit game

Trea Turner was the lone Nats player with multiple hits Saturday as he went 2-for-5 at the top of the lineup. Bryce Harper went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run. Daniel Murphy finished 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Kelvin Herrera took the loss as he gave up one earned run on three hits without recording an out.

Jeremy Hellickson (4-1, 3.44 ERA) starts today for Washington, while Miami counters with Jose Urena (2-10, 4.63).

MLB Betting Trends

Washington

The Nationals are 7-15 in their last 22 road games. The under is 7-1 in the last eight Hellickson starts on grass.

Miami

The Marlins are 3-8 in their last 11 Sunday games. Miami is 8-23 in its last 31 meetings.

Prediction:

Washington couldn't get the job done yesterday, but I expect it to have a much better offensive showing against Urena. As for Hellickson, he was dreadful the last time he faced the Marlins this season but otherwise has been a very consistent starter. I'd imagine he does much better this time out as he'll likely alter his gameplan a bit. Go with Washington to win today's series finale.
