Wednesday's game between the Padres and Braves has been suspended due to weather. The Padres were leading 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning, which fell three outs shy of an official game. There has not been a makeup date announced as of yet but there seems to be an indication that it may take place in San Diego when the Braves visit in September. Matt Moore pitched well in a no-decision against the Marlins on Friday afternoon, racking up nine strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings of two-run baseball. The veteran southpaw scattered six hits on the afternoon and didn't walk a batter. All of the damage done against him came in the second inning on a pair of RBI doubles by Jon Berti and Miguel Rojas. Moore will carry a 5.25 ERA and 1.61 WHIP into a tough matchup against the Yankees in New York on Wednesday.
