San Francisco Giants DFS Notes
Brandon Crawford left Friday's contest against the Cardinals due to cramping in his left hamstring. Giants manager Gabe Kapler didn't sound overly concerned in his postgame press conference, though it wouldn't be surprising to see Crawford held out of the lineup on Saturday for precautionary reasons. Be sure to monitor his status on Saturday just to be on the safe side.
St. Louis Cardinals DFS Notes
Paul DeJong went 3-for-4 on Friday in a loss to the Giants. DeJong did not have many three-hit games in the first half of the season, but is off to a nice start for the final two-plus months. He's been much better in July, however, and we've seen DeJong go on hot streaks -- hot streaks is an understatement. Those who need some lightning in a bottle could do worse than taking a chance on him right now.
Giants vs. Cardinals MLB Betting Prediction
The Giants are just 2-5 in their last five meetings with the Cardinals and 2-7 in their last nine games at Busch Stadium despite winning last night’s game versus the Redbirds. The Cardinals are also 4-1 in their last five home games, are 5-2 in their last seven games coming off a loss and have won four straight when playing the second game of a series.
