From Rotoworld: Perdomo held the Indians to two runs — one earned — in five innings to snare a win on Wednesday. He didn’t walk anybody but allowed nine hits in the short start. None of them left the yard however and he was able to scatter them out enough so the Indians couldn’t inflict much pain. He notched four strikeouts in the ballgame and evened his record at 4-4 with a 4.54 ERA.
Marquez allowed three runs on nine hits over seven innings in a win over the White Sox on Friday. Marquez was having a very good night before a two-run home run in the seventh inning made his final line a little less attractive, but he still pitched plenty well enough to earn his sixth win. The right-hander struck out five in the outing without issuing a walk. Marquez has acquitted himself fairly well in his first go-round as a major league starter, entering the break with a 6-4 record, 4.36 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 14 starts.
