Chris Paddack logged two innings out of the Padres bullpen on Sunday, striking out four over two innings of one-run baseball. It was an all hands on deck situation for the Padres after starter Ryan Weathers exited with a knee injury. Paddack surrendered four hits, but the only one that did any damage was C.J. Cron's solo homer in the fourth inning. He'll head into the All-Star break with a disappointing 5.38 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 77 frames on the season.
Washington Nationals DFS Notes
Erick Fedde surrendered three runs in five innings Sunday in a loss to the Giants. Fedde gave up eight hits, but it was Curt Casali's homer in the second that did all of the damage. The defeat left Fedde 4-6 with a 4.59 ERA as he heads into the break.
