Houston Astros DFS Notes
Jose Altuve hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to give the Astros an 8-7 win over the Yankees on Sunday. Altuve golfed a Chad Green breaking ball 368 feet for a Crawford Box homer, completing a five-run, ninth-inning comeback. It was his 20th homer of the year, and it prevented the Astros from getting swept at home in the final series before the All-Star break.
Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
Eloy Jiménez (pectoral) drew a walk while going 0-for-2 on Tuesday for Triple-A Charlotte. It was his first game with the Knights after he went 3-for-7 in his time with High-A Winston-Salem. The 24-year-old slugger has missed all of the 2021 season while recovering from his strained pectoral, but is closing in on a return at the end of the month. What a boost he could provide the White Sox and fantasy managers if he's the player we saw in 2020.
Astros vs. White Sox MLB Betting Prediction
The Astros have won 16 of their last 21 meetings with the White Sox overall, are 4-0 in their last four road games and have won 20 of their last 27 games coming off a win as well. On the other side, as well as the White Sox have played this season, they’re just 16-35 in their last 51 games as an underdog over the last two seasons and are only 1-6 in their last seven games versus opponents from the American League West.
