Richards shuts down Phils

Miami starting pitcher Trevor Richards outdueled Philadelphia ace Aaron Nola in a 2-0 win by the hosts Saturday afternoon. He threw six shutout innings, giving up four hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Martin Prado paced the offense by going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Derek Dietrich and Brian Anderson were both 1-for-4 with a run.

Hoskins, Kingery each record two hits

Phillies outfielder Rhys Hoskins and infielder Scott Kingery were both 2-for-4 in Saturday's loss. Jorge Alfaro was 1-for-3 with a double. Nola suffered the loss as he allowed two earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts and a walk over six innings.

Enyel De Los Santos (1-0, 4.26 ERA) gets the call for the Phillies today, while Jose Urena (2-9, 4.13) will start for Miami.

Prediction:

De Los Santos was impressive in his MLB debut against the Mets and with great minor league numbers before his call-up, I'm thinking he has another strong start in him today against a weak Marlins lineup. Urena has been better as of late, but he'll be facing a patient Philliy lineup that will make him pay for mistakes. Take Philadelphia in this spot.
